Pacific Sabbatarian Association Records
The Pacific Sabbatarian Association was incorporated on October 1, 1888, for the purposes of: First, to receive, purchase, hold, mortgage or sell Real of Personal property for the purposes hereinafter mentioned. Secondly - to repair, construct or erect suitable edifices to be used as places of worship, educational and sanitary Institutions and depositories of literary supplies for the special use and benefit of persons belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist denomination on the Pacific Coast. Thirdly, to engage in the publication and dissemination of Literature appertaining to the Seventh-day Adventist Denomination.
The present records cover the period from incorporation in 1888 to 1917, consisting primarily of Board of Directors and stockholders meeting announcements and minutes, financial records, and correspondence primarily concerned with the transfer of real property to various California Seventh-day Adventist conferences.
