Bookmarks Collection
The Bookmarks collection documents a fascinating aspect of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its institutions. The collection consists of a variety bookmarks from Ingathering campaigns, for Sabbath School, Pathfinders, churches, schools, conferences and other entities and occasions. The bookmarks are silk, satin, plastic, cardstock and paper. The individual items were donated to the Library at different times, from different donors, but have been gathered together as a group. Donor information has been retained, when known. Where there are duplicates, only one image has been uploaded, but details of the multiple copies are given in the record.

The Robert LeRoy and Belva Smith Bridgman Collection
This collection documents Robert LeRoy Bridgman's education and work as a nurse. Robert was born on November 11, 1899 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended the Iowa Sanitarium (Nevada, Iowa) Training School for Nurses, possibly graduating in 1922. He then attended the Paradise Valley Sanitarium and Hospital Training School for Missionary Nurses, graduating from there on September 6, 1925. His diploma is shown here. The scrapbook and other photographs shown here document his time at these two training schools.
Also included here are materials related to Belva Emma (Smith) Bridgman including her 8th grade report card from the Massena (Iowa) Public School and the months she worked as a colporteur in 1919.

The Eunice Chappel Photograph Collection
The Collection consists of thirty-seven black & white photographs, and one calling card. Thirty-six of the photographs appear to be from the time period that Eunice Chappel was attending school at Paradise Valley Sanitarium and Hospital. The final photograph appears to be of a class reunion during the 1940s/50s.

School of Nursing Collection
The School of Nursing Collection includes photographs of the nursing school, nursing student activities, and graduations between the years 1907-2006. Since the nursing school was the first academic program at Loma Linda University–formerly The College of Medical Evangelists–this collection, additionally, documents the development of the University, particularly throughout the first half of the 1900s. The materials in this collection include a preserved scrapbook, several photograph albums, diplomas, graduation photographs, and numerous loose photographs. These items are now held in the University's Archives and Special Collections, many of which are digitally reproduced here in the Loma Linda University Digital Archive.

Today Collection
The Today publication is designed to serve all entities of the 'Loma Linda' organizations University, Medical Center, and Adventist Health System / Loma Linda. It succeeds the University Observer, which served the Loma Linda and La Sierra campuses, and Newsbreak, the news publication designed for the Loma Linda University Medical Center. TODAY will be issued twice a month during the school year and once a month during June, July, August, and September. This collection includes the first 39 issues from April 13, 1988 to December 13, 1989.
