School of Nursing Collection

The School of Nursing Collection includes photographs of the nursing school, nursing student activities, and graduations between the years 1907-2006. Since the nursing school was the first academic program at Loma Linda University–formerly The College of Medical Evangelists–this collection, additionally, documents the development of the University, particularly throughout the first half of the 1900s. The materials in this collection include a preserved scrapbook, several photograph albums, diplomas, graduation photographs, and numerous loose photographs. These items are now held in the University's Archives and Special Collections, many of which are digitally reproduced here in the Loma Linda University Digital Archive.
